Run This Town by Jay-Z and Kanye West while Rihanna sings the chorus. I’ve been obsessed with this song for a while. So it’s fitting that I have this video be my first review.
0:22- It’s funny how if this was shot now, Kanye would be running from the mob instead of leading it.
0:30- Rihanna looks like a crazy muslim but instead of guns, she has gold around her neck.
0:41- Rihanna- “Help, I’m on Fire”
1:04- I don’t get the layout of this place there in. First there outside like a prison would and then there in a tunnel-like cave. Maybe there in a castle, but I doubt it. Looks too ugly.
1:16- The other thing I don’t get is the mob could burn them alive whenever they want. (ANARCHY!!) where are the singer/rapper’s weapons to quiet the mob? I guess the singers are supposed to lead them but then Jay-Z, Kanye and Rihanna should then be walking to someplace, not just standing there kind of awkwardly.
1:21- I wonder what the director was thinking about having everything in black:
Director “So, I think you guys should be in black and also have the mob in black because it’s all black everything”
Jay-Z:”love it”
Rihanna:”that’s cool. just as long as people realize that even though I was beaten almost to death, I can still sing. You know, that Chris is such a lunatic.”

2:53- who is that guy? My guess is it’s Michael Jackson when he was young but then why would Yeezy wear that? any suggestions
3:06- honestly how does Rihanna see out of those shade?
3:15- Let me see Rihanna must be really warm in this screen cap. I mean she’s carrying a torch while the wall 2 feet from her is burning.
3:35- I get it. you’re angry that Taylor Swift won. But did you have to crack all the windows?
Alright I should stop bashing Kanye on his Taylor Swift remarks. He’s already gotten teased enough. Two references is good for me.
3:52- Yeah, you break that window, (which wasn’t broken before?) because people think you rap to get a rav-4. I don’t know maybe it wasn’t broken before but if a theoretical car robber were to get in the car, don’t you think it would go break the drivers window not the the other seat windows?
3:57 & 4:08- Hey, Kanye can count to 2!!
4:06- Mob: “Yeah, lets all wave our hands in a motion for no reason at all”
4:38-4:43- I never realized how scary eyes were alone, until that segment of the video.
5:12- Yeah, let’s all just act tough by having our arms cross, shades and not smiling at all.
So, that’s it. Overall, this is a good video.
